During today’s presentation Pokemon Presents, the Pokemon team He revealed a complete map of Paldea, the region where Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are set. Although the official map is a bit blurry, an upscaled fan version is now giving us a clearer view of the Paldea region.
Today, IGN’s own Ryan Quintal created an upgraded version of the map, revealing significant details about the region in Twitter thread.
Quintal pointed out how diverse the map is, noting several desert regions, seaside towns, smaller grassland towns, and cliffside mountain locations. Get all the details on the Quintal map below:

The Pokemon Company also revealed additional details about Paldea on their websitesaying that it is filled with “various locations, from a farming village with a precious harvest to a port town with a bustling market.”
Pokémon will also occupy every nook and cranny of Paldea’s diverse terrain, living in “treetops, rivers, and all kinds of other places in the desert.”
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are set to release on November 18th. During today’s presentation, we learned that you will be able to explore the open world of Paldea with the help of the game’s strange living vehicle legendaries.
The game will also be through a separate story campaign and a lot of new Pokemon (including the fast fan favorite Fidough).
