OnePlus revealed today the 10T, a phone that will sit alongside the 10 Pro in the company’s portfolio because it is not the successor of that model, but more of a strange side grade, with some advantages but also some disadvantages.
While that might sound confusing, the pricing isn’t – the 10T is the cheapest model. But not as much as we first thought, at least not in the United States.

Moreover, OnePlus made the 10 Pro $100 cheaper than before. It shipped for $899, but you can get one now for $799. That’s still more than the $649 you’ll have to pay for the OnePlus 10T, but it could be a more palatable price delta for those who like the 10 Pro’s better camera system and high-res curved screen — and the same It doesn’t matter about slightly faster charging time and slightly better performance overall, because those are the areas where the 10T beats the 10 Pro.
Unfortunately, there’s no word from OnePlus on whether a similar price cut will take effect in any other territories, so it could be a US-only thing. That means the 10 Pro will be a much harder sell in other parts of the world, but the 10T should look even better in comparison? It’s hard to figure out what’s behind the strategy, but this is where things stand right now.
