President Biden on Wednesday is continuing test positive for the coronavirus and so he will maintain his “strict isolation measures,” says the White House doctor.
Kevin O’Connor said in a letter that it is Biden, who finished a light workout Feeling good this morning but still has an “occasional cough, but less than yesterday.
“He is still free of fever and in good spirits. His temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation remain completely normal,” O’Connor added. “His lungs remain clear.”
“Due to his rebound positivity that we reported on Saturday, we continued daily monitoring. This morning, his SARS-CoV-2 antigen test remained positive,” the doctor added.
Biden will remain alone and “conduct the business of the American people from the Executive Residence,” according to O’Connor.
O’Connor said last week that Biden tested negative for COVID-19 on Tuesday evening, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning, and Friday morning, but tested positive Saturday morning with an antigen test.
The president initially tested positive for the coronavirus on July 21.
